At the 2024 Synergos GPC Members Gathering, filmmaker, philanthropist, and activist Abigail Disney, shared her insights on effective philanthropy with Synergos Founder Peggy Dulany. Creator of the Daphne Foundation, Disney challenged the “faster, cheaper, better” mentality that is common in organized philanthropy, advocating for a more thoughtful approach to giving. She urged philanthropists to adopt a long-term perspective and foster kindness and respect in the communities they work with.
