I was a bit fearful when I thought about making this dupe. Why? Because I support designers and buying “real design” and I totally live by the moto “living within your means”.. however… I can’t justify spending $6,500 on this particular jacket and they also don’t make it for woman. This is a man’s jacket and after trying it on in store…I DECIDED. I wasn’t even gonna look good in a small for men. I decided to make one… for a fraction of the price. Total cost of this project for me was 40$. If you spend a little more to get a better quality denim jacket (I found the perfect one btw that would dupe the Gucci better and linked it down below! IF you spend a bit more time and cut around he trim of the patches it would look better. I’ve linked the more expensive pieces for those who are too lazy to trim. I was too lazy to cut patches black trim off in the front of the jacket but did spend some times cutting the trim around the edges on the arms and back patches and realize it made a world of a difference. It took quite a while to cut to be honest but totally worth it. If you wanna make the same jacket! Links are down below. TOO LAZY? I’ve also linked the original design down there also.
