Royal Albatross ~ TF Spends First Night Alone Successfully Post-guard Stage! 29 Days Old! 💕 2.22.24

LGK left the Top Flat area in the afternoon and did not return for the night. TF kept itself busy with some gardening, but was always on edge, popping up to look around at every sound. TF can see BOK brooding her chick so that will give some comfort to the young chick who is alone. TF made it through its first night alone on the nest at 29 days old! Bravo brave little chick! For comparison, Manaaki spent his first night alone at 34 days old. ♥

In the morning, TF did some gardening and also kept watch hoping to see Mom or Dad back. LGL has been gone since Feb 19th and should be back soon. Thank you for watching!
