Sheffield native Richard Hawley is synonymous with his hometown. Over the last 20 years, he has released 9 studio albums, with 2 being nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. In 2023, he received 2 Olivier Awards for his musical Standing At The Sky’s Edge. Richard is renowned for his guitar playing and vocals. He has collaborated with Shakespears Sister, Manic Street Preachers, Arctic Monkeys, Elbow, and more. As guitarist for Pulp, he helped define their sound. With his mix of classic song writing, soothing vocals, and gritty realism, Richard crosses musical boundaries, often with a Rockabilly style, while maintaining his unique identity. His October 2023 album ‘Now Then’ became his 4th top 10 and received rave reviews.
