This separation tank serves multiple functions. It is a full 25 Ft/7.6 M long and traverses the plastic 3 times its length permitting the plastic to soak in the warm detergent, thereby loosening labels, adhesive and other contaminants. In order to achieve a crystal clear, contaminant free plastic pellet, dwell time in detergent is critical. This separator tank permits a 25 minute dwell time even when washing more than two tons per hour. It will not only remove all non buoyant contaminants from PE/PP but achieve the cleanest recycled plastic possible. It can be configured to clean PET or PVC.
