Background:
Menstrual hygiene remains a taboo subject in many parts of India, leading to unhygienic practices and health risks for women. Only 36% use conventional products, while others resort to unsafe methods. Our project aims to tackle these challenges by promoting menstrual hygiene awareness and providing access to GynoCups, a reusable and sustainable alternative.

3: Lack of Awareness and Education: UNICEF states that 71% of adolescent girls in India remain unaware of menstruation until they get their first period.

4: Limited Access to Products: 23 million girls drop out of school annually due to a lack of proper menstrual hygiene management facilities.
