Borough Market | 4K | London Walking Tour | May 2022

Today I will be having a walking tour around Borough Market located in London , England . The largest and Oldest Market in London . Borough Market is a wholesale and retail market hall in Southwark, London, England. It is one of the largest and oldest food markets in London, with a market on the site dating back to at least the 12th century.

Feast on hot dishes from street food vendors and browse stalls heaped with fresh produce at this foodie paradise by London Bridge.From British fruits and vegetables to international delicacies, handmade chocolate truffles, Indian street food and raclette, there’s plenty to peruse and tuck into from the many traders and restaurants at one of London’s oldest food markets.

There are lots of fantastic restaurants in Borough Market - watch fresh pasta being made at Padella, share a Middle Eastern feast at Arabica or enjoy a comforting Sunday lunch at Roast.

The market is open from Monday to Saturday, with the full market operating from Wednesday to Saturday. On Mondays and Tuesdays not all of the stalls are open, but shoppers can still find several hot food traders, and fruits and vegetable sellers.

Borough Market is located next to London Bridge station, serviced by the Northern and Jubilee Tube lines, in addition to mainline trains from all over London. London Bridge, Borough High Street and Southwark have several bus stops, with buses going to destinations across the capital.
