We need to build a healthy, sustainable ECD ecosystem that respects and empowers every person in a child’s life.

One teacher can change the course for a generation of learners.
But she needs more than a funder. She needs a partner, a mentor, a guide that will walk the road with her and give her proven tools and a recipe for success.

We’re working with ECD owners, teachers, parents and other organisations to make sure that excellent preschool education is accessible, affordable and sustainable in every neighbourhood.

FREE ECD MANAGEMENT APP
To start with, any preschool in South Africa can get free access to our user-friendly mobile App. It’s a true One Stop Shop that allows centre owners and teachers to manage their school for the palm of their hand.

QUALITY EDUCATION PROGRAMME
Centres are equipped with a play-based daily programme as well as all the educational equipment they need to implement the programme. Classrooms become an oasis where children can thrive and grow.

TEACHER MENTORSHIP AND TRAINING
Teachers are always learning and growing. That is why mentorship is so important. An education mentor who has years of experience can help a teacher with practical advice in her classroom.

REGISTRATION SUPPORT
Getting registered requires ECD centres to operate like a business and comply with health, safety and infrastructure standards. We provide business training and mentorship, registration support and access to infrastructure upgrades to help centres meet these standards and become more professional.

LOW COST FINANCE AND BRIDGING GRANTS
Preschool from marginalised communities struggle to access low-interest finance so that they can invest in their small businesses.
GROW is making low-cost finance options available to ECD centres as well as offering bridging grants to worthy schools.

SECTOR COLLABORATION
To achieve impact at scale we work with other ECD support organisations, non-profits and the private sector to create shared value partnerships.
