STORYLINE:
Hundreds of protesters demonstrated in the Syrian city of Hasaka on Sunday to condemn Friday's deadly shooting outside a Kurdish cultural centre in Paris.

The 69-year-old man killed three people and wounded three others, and was then disarmed and subdued by one of the injured victims, according to the the Paris prosecutor’s office.

Prosecutors have said that the suspect had set out that morning aiming to kill migrants or foreigners and then himself.

During Sunday's protest, demonstrators accused Turkey of plotting and carrying out the attack against Kurdish activists in diaspora.

France's interior minister has said the gunmen had targeted foreigners, but not necessarily Kurds.
