In this video I walk through the basics of using guitar effects pedals with modular or semi-modular synthesizers. I’ll go over why effects pedals can be a great addition to your Eurorack setup, how to optimize signal levels between your synth and pedals (and other technical considerations), which kinds of effects work best with modulars, and how expression pedals, control voltage, and modulation work when interfacing between FX pedals and synthesizers.
