In this video, we introduce the concept of a robotic wrist. All industrial robots (normally) have a spherical wrist which means that the last three rotation axes intersect at a common point and this configuration is known as a robot wrist.

Almost all industrial robots have a spherical wrist because it makes solving the inverse kinematics simple. And yeah, we also touch briefly on what an IK of a wrist is.
