ATX Breakout Board: Easy ATX PSU Conversion to Lab Bench Power Supply DIY

In this review and tutorial, I will show you how convert a computer atx power supply to bench power supply using a cheap ATX breakout board. This DIY benchtop PSU can supply -12V, +12V, 5V or 3.3V DC to any electronic device. No need to open the power supply enclosure, no soldering required and you don’t have to struggle with all these wires and figure out the ATX pinout. All you have to do is plug it and enjoy your lab bench power supply! It’s the cheapest and easiest ATX power supply hack I could find! It is great for using computer power supply for other uses.

This board can be used with a LM317 step down buck converter to create a variable / adjustable lab bench power supply.
