There are many shots of the Cascade Brewery in the Beattie's Studio Collection. I chose this one because it shows the most change; the building has more floors now and the stone wall on the street has been moved back to widen the road. The "Then and Now" comparison is quite stunning.
And I shot it all without breaking any laws or rules. The episode that follows will tell the story of the brewery, which is amazing and not what you think. The Cascade company of today is no relation to the building's shady start in 1824.
