Growing up in South Africa, I know all too well how hard it is to find SFX products. They're either way too expensive, or they're inaccessible. Over the next few videos, I will be showing you how to create some of the products from home with items that you already have, or that are easy to get.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR EACH METHOD:

** Cotton and Latex Method:
Liquid latex
Cotton Wool (can also be replaced with tissue, but I feel that this loses realism a bit)
Baby powder
Concealer or foundation
Bruise wheel/Bodypaint/Eyeshadow for colouring the wound
Fake Blood (See below for a link on how to make your own!)

** Scar Wax Method:
Scar Wax (See below for a link on how to make your own!)
Vaseline (optional)
Skin adhesive (Liquid latex, prosaide, spirit gum, even lash glue!)
Concealer or foundation (if the scar wax doesn't match your skin tone)
Bruise wheel/Bodypaint/Eyeshadow for colouring the wound
Fake Blood (See below for a link on how to make your own!)

** Bodypaint Method
