The Lalgudi Siblings are the torchbearers of their eponymous Baani named after their Late father and Guru, the legendary maestro Sri Lalgudi G Jayaraman, one of Carnatic music's " Violin Trinity. Over the years, the siblings have nurtured and propogated the legacy of the Lalgudi Baani , while also blending their own artistic elements. ". The family has a direct lineage with Saint Tyagaraja, a musician revered by Carnatic aficionados, with a style marked by superb lyrical expression and divine melodic ornamentations.
Today they are known as Violinists, Vocalists, Composers and command respect for duets and individual performances alike. The duo were awarded the prestigious " Sangita Kalanidhi " title by the Madras Music Academy, for the year 2022. This is considered the highest accolade in the field of Carnatic music.

Sri Rama, standing there with determination, creating thunderbolts of twangs of his bow Kodanda, looked at Lakshmana - his trust worthy companion.
