Mike Haldas, co-founder of CCTV Camera Pros, uses three of these wireless IP cameras and a Viewtron IP camera NVR to monitor his vacation property in the rocky mountains. The video begins with Mike explaining his home security camera system setup.

The camera that monitors the front door and living room is hard wired to the Viewtron recorder. This camera can work using WIFI or it can be hard wired to your NVR. Being that this camera is located very close to the NVR, it makes sense for this one to be hard wired.

Viewtron NVRs have built-in PoE ports that make the setup plug and play. The two other Viewtron IP-C4 cameras connect to Mike's home network using their built-in WIFI. Viewtron NVRs can scan the local area network for any IP cameras and connect to them. This works for hard wired IP cameras and wireless IP cameras,

The two cameras that are connected wirelessly monitor the other two entrances to Mike's house. All three cameras are setup to detect when someone is inside the home. Mike is alerted via a push notification to the Viewtron mobile app when this occurs.

The focal point of this video is the Viewtron camera's impressive ultra-wide-angle lens, offering expansive visibility across a 24ft wide room from the front door to the opposite wall. The camera continues it's surveillance beyond the family room into the dining area, ultimately covering a total distance of 32ft from its mounting point to a far glass door.

Mike provides a practical demonstration of the camera in action, showcasing its ability to maintain high image quality and clarity across various proximities: from close encounters to the farthest corners of the monitored space.
