Who Is CP Radhakrishnan?

He was sworn in as the Governor of Maharashtra on July 31, 2024
Before this, he served as the Governor of Jharkhand for nearly a year and a half
He was born on October 20, 1957, in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has been a member of the RSS
He served as the State Executive Committee Member of the Bharatiya Janasangh in 1974
He was the State President of the BJP in Tamil Nadu from 2004 to 2007
Beyond politics, he was a college champion in table tennis and a long-distance runner

The Vice Presidential election is scheduled for September 9, with the last date for filing nominations being August 21
