Are younger generations work-shy?

The younger generations - and I'm talking mostly about Gen Z here - have been criticised in the media a lot lately for being 'lazy', or 'entitled' or 'workshy'.

Sophia Money-Coutts writing in the Telegraph said they're every employer's 'worst nightmare', because they apparently don't want to work long days.

Another article claims young workers sometimes don't even turn up to work - and when they do they're unwilling to pick up the phone.
