Our main character Jolene is riddled with anxiety and depression, and she hates her coworkers. She keeps a healthy distance from each of them. However, a catastrophic IT issue grants Jolene access to all her coworkers’ private emails and messages. Initially, she is repelled, she couldn’t care less for their bland conversations about dying desk plants and marital concerns. However, Jolene quickly realises she is in a position of power with this knowledge when employment redundancies come looming. But as she investigates further into the web of the private lives of her colleagues, Jolene discovers a lot more than what she bargained for. And her fortress of solitude that she meticulously built is starting to crumble.
