ISS Vanguard Review — What’s Beyond Earth? [NO SPOILERS!]

We review the entirety of ISS Vanguard, and its campaign, without any spoilers. There's no spoilers in this review, plus detailed timestamps! ISS Vanguard is Awaken Realm’s biggest Sci-Fi board game of 2022, where you hop on an intergalactic ship to explore the cosmos for humanity. You'll manage and roll dice, hands of cards and decks, plus even your ship's card-binder that helps with bookkeeping and component overhead. ISS Vanguard utilizes unique tabletop rules since it uses two main parts of the game to tell the sweeping sci-fi story, as things can go wrong in your campaign. With a story that's somewhat comparable to Tainted Grail, 1-4 player flexibility, and incredible miniatures, ISS Vanguard seems to capture the hearts of solo gamers and cooperative fans on BGG. But does the campaign really come together throughout the entire journey? Do the mechanics merit the length of the campaign, even with the unlockable cards and secret folder?
