Check out my follow up video for view of how I mount FAT bracket to the bag.

Quick summary of 2nd effort to get hard bags mounted, and it's a winner.

Several things to consider.
1. Need a plan for rear signals. Stock won't work.
2. Need to relocate plate. Several options available for the bobber models.
3. Realize the Vikings website says these "Scout" bags won't fit, but I'm showing you, they do.
4. Bolts from Viking are both garbage and don't fit. They aren't metric, etc. You will need to grab 8mm 1.25 pitch, and determin correct length for your setup. If you have sissy bar for example, you'll need longer bolt.
5. Ensure you don't get too long a bolt. If they stick too far inside the fender they will tear your tire apart.
6. I included rubber washers in addition to wide washers so the rubber sits between FAT and frame trim.

I'd remind you to take the trim off rear fender and use that while positioning the FAT brackets so that you get holes perfectly lined up. I was so focused on getting everything level, I ended up with a hole off a bit and couldn't screw it in until I took it all down and remeasured.

Any of the "Scout" bags are supposedly shipped with FAT brackets. These are the key.
