Feast of Trumpets & Rosh Hashanah 2023 - Blowing the Shofar in Jerusalem!
On the second night of the Feast of Trumpets and Rosh Hashanah, Jewish families gathered together in Jerusalem at a park to publicly blow the shofar. One man blew a small shofar, and another man blew a large shofar blasting the different sounds and calls throughout the city of Jerusalem.

The blowing of the shofar has great significance. In this video, as you hear the powerful shofar blasts, I hope you also hear the call of your Heavenly Father.

The blowing of the shofar can signify the declaration of a King. When we hear these trumpet blasts, let us acknowledge that Jesus is King and allow Him to be King of our lives.
In the Jewish culture, Rosh Hashanah begins the 10 days of awe, which are the days that lead up to Yom Kippur or the day of atonement. During these 10 days, the Jewish people take time to evaluate their lives, acknowledge their sin, and repent and turn back to God.
