I decided to finally bite the bullet and get a new car stereo for my '14 Subaru Forester after the stock Clarion head unit exhibited some horrible firmware issues with Bluetooth in general as well as audio playback through both Bluetooth and USB. This new Kenwood eXcelon DPX793BH has been a very welcome addition to my car. The firmware isn't buggy and awful like the stock heat unit, it has more features and generally makes me a lot happier.
