There is no way we can define our lines by which we live unless we know how to define those lines. Do we extend grace in all directions and hope that by being fully accepting and understanding and not speaking truth for fear that we would come across as judgmental or hypocritical? Do we extend truth in all directions and hope that by being fully honest and pointing people to an absolute right and wrong and not speaking out in grace for fear that we would have no ethical or moral foundation in which to base everything else on? Is that how we should define our lines?

Defining our lines with grace or truth alone gets us far but ultimately creates bigger issues in the end. But when we uphold the fullness of grace and the fullness of truth together, that's when we really start to create a definition for how to live and how to love. Because the fullness of Grace and the fullness of Truth equals God's Complete Love. This means, love without truth is incomplete and love without grace is incomplete. But by loving people with a complete definition of what love looks like, we can begin to define our lines more clearly and with more purpose and ultimately help transform this world to look more like Jesus.
