Indian filmmakers Abbas and Mustan speak about their film 'Darar'

Indian filmmakers Abbas Alibhai Burmawalla and Mustan Burmawalla, popularly known as Abbas Mustan speak about their film 'Darar', they say, "Our third film is also a remake because when we chose the subject of Khiladi when the writer narrates us we didn't know that it was a remake but we liked the story and we started working on it then we got to know that it is a remake of the film ' Khel Khel Main'. Our second subject was 'Baazigar'. The writer of the film Bazigar narrates the story to us but he didn't tell us that it is the story of an English movie. When we approved the story then he told us that the story was an English film 'Kiss Before Dying'.

A remake of a film doesn't mean that we copy that film but we get inspired from the story to make another film on that. It is good to be inspired from somewhere. Thriller is a way of treating the story be it the film Khiladi, Darar or Bazigar. Darar is a love story based on human relation but our treatment is a thriller. We are very confident about Darar. We are expecting so much from the film.
