Pasighat is close to many hearts all across the globe. People (not localite) worked there under the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and came back to their respective natives or settled somewhere else. Leaving Pasighat after retirement becomes difficult for the majority of people. Pasighat remains special for those families for the rest of their life. I was born in Pasighat and in the same year, Arunachal Pradesh was declared as a state earlier it was union territory. On 20th February, the state celebrates Statehood day every year. I left Pasighat in 2005 for higher studies in Bengaluru. It takes six months for me to get adjusted to the new city. I visited Pasighat many times during my college vacations. In August 2014, my parents left Pasighat for the last time. I missed this place almost every day. I dreamed that whenever I got married, I would visit Pasighat with my wife and finally the day came and I visited Pasighat with my wife. This travel film is a small effort from my end to share some of the authentic information regarding Pasighat which is close to many hearts.
The trip towards the oldest town of Arunachal Pradesh. This travel film focuses on the importance of Pasighat along with the developments in the recent time. East Siang is one of the most developed districts in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Pasighat is the headquarter of the East Siang district. After the completion of Bogibeel Bridge, it becomes easy to reach the place via Dibrugarh. Pasighat is one of the smart cities in the Smart Cities Mission initiated by the Government of India. Pasighat is the gateway to explore the hidden treasures of East Siang, Upper Siang, Siang, Dibang Valley, Lower Dibang Valley, SHI-YOMI and West Siang district. Enjoying the local cuisines by attending the Solung festival is something you just love. Solung is a harvesting festival celebrated by the Adi tribes by worshipping Goddess Kine Nane. The festival starts in the first week of September every year. It is better to stay in Pasighat for a week to explore the nearby virgin places like Sirki, Bodak, Boleng village, Geku village, Mebo and many more. Summer seasons can be better enjoyed by bathing in the streams (Sivokorong and Silekorong) and enjoying time at Sirki waterfall whereas winters can be special by enjoying the beauty of River Siang looks blue and sometimes green. The Tropical rain forests in the region welcome photographers and adventure lovers to experience some of the best times with nature and the wild. This travel film is made to make people aware of this mesmerizing and breathtaking place. You can find both luxury and budget hotels in Pasighat at a very reasonable prices.

Correction: The man who helped British Officer to cross the Siang River is Komli Regon, not Komli Riba.
