Incredible 7-DAY Kitchen Makeover! (I saved $15,000 by DIYing it!)

This DIY 7-Day Kitchen Makeover shows the entire process of refreshing a kitchen from start to finish. Although all parts of the project may not last for 10+ years, these are great budget-friendly options to update your home until you can afford to completely remodel.

We kicked this project off by ordering new cabinet door fronts from NuDoors. (www.nudoors.com) We measured our existing doors that we wanted to replace and sent the measurements to their team. Once we chose a color, they sent us their DIY cabinet kit. This kit provides you with everything you need to paint the cabinet bases. Then, they sent the finished and painted cabinet doors right to our doorstep for installation. After that we refreshed our kitchen counters by painting them black with Rust oleum’s countertop kit. After prepping and cleaning, I painted 3 layers of paint and sealed with the topcoat. Lastly, I caulked all the seams where the counters meet the backsplash. The final part in this makeover was to give our refrigerator a few more years of life. Appliances are expensive, and this is a great way to refresh something until you can save up for a new one. I used Rustoleums appliance epoxy and was extremely impressed by the quality of the final product.
