Danny "zonic" Sørensen, former secondary caller of mTw.dk in 1.6 and former coach of Astralis and Team Vitality in CS:GO and now coach of Team Falcons, is the star of the 311th Episode of 'Reflections'. This episode is part three of three about zonic's career.

zonic is one of Denmark's Counter-Strike legends. Breaking onto the scene as a star talent in teams like Asylum, it was playing for SK.dk where he found initial success as they made it to the final of ESWC 2005, one of the unofficial majors of the game. The next major period of success came upon joining NoA, which transitioned from a half Norwegian-half Danish team to all Danish.

After climbing the ranks in 2006, NoA was ready to take off in 2007 with Sunde's addition. They finished runners-up at two majors that year, losing to NEO and TaZ's Pentagram at ESWC and mSx's emuLate at WCG. In 2008 zonic got former SK team-mate whiMp back and mTw.dk became the best team of the year and won a number of notable events such as KODE5, ESWC Masters Paris, WEM and WCG.

Results were still good in 2009 and 2010 but mTw famously was denied titles by the FNATIC super-team and markeloff and Zeus's Na'Vi, the latter being one of the hardest countered rivalries in CS history.

zonic was famously critical of CS:GO early on, as most 1.6 professionals were, but he eventually dived in by becoming a coach for MSL's Dignitas in the latter part of 2015. This led to coaching the newly formed Astralis in 2016. The rest from there is very much history, as Astralis line-ups collectively won four majors, including three in a major and without map losses in the play-offs, and many other tier one LAN tournaments right up until the end of 2019.

In late 2021 zonic made the move, along with two of his Astralis players, to Team Vitality where they created an ambitious but potentially powerful international line-up, joining forces with phenomenal French super-star AWPer ZywOo. After initial teething problems over most of 2022, Vitality would win ESL ProLeague to hint at their eventual potential. This year they made good on it entirely, winning both IEM Rio and the BLAST Paris Major, CS:GO's last ever.

zonic finished CS:GO with five majors won, three more than any other coach in the game's history. He has since left Vitality and taken up the mantle of a new project at Team Falcons.

In part three, zonic talks about his unique approach to scrimming in Astralis, sitting out tournaments in the 'BLASTralis' period, overcoming Team Liquid in Berlin, device saying NiP are "five steps ahead" in that infamous vlog, why he joined Vitality and what his motivations are for the Falcons project.
