This video (*cough* which is much prettier in large-screen HD, by the way) is for my Tumblr ask blog, featuring Jamie from Harvest Moon: Magical Melody.

It's a tribute to all of the wonderful people I've interacted with there, done via a parody of the opening sequence to the mini anime webseries "The Melancholy of Haruhi-CHAN Suzumiya."

It's called "Ima Made no Arasuji," or "The Story Up to Now"... But, much like the pure randomness of the original OP, this video is probably not very effective at completely clarifying the story of what's been going on at Tumblr. Guess you're gonna have to check it out yourself!

I'm quite proud of these silly cheesy lyrics, haha. I think they do a lot of justice to the random fun with wordplay in the original lyrics.

I've already made a "shipping" joke before, but it was /totally/ funny the first time, right? So yeah here it is again.

I'm also VERY proud of the animation... The running-in-place parts are my favorite, but...

...I think it's worth the effort, but... It sucks because I feel like the harder I keep working on videos, the sooner I'm going to reach the limits of my ability whereat I can't possibly make my next thing any better or I'll die trying. That's kinda what I feel like is happening to me lately: instead of churning things out faster I've been taking longer and longer -- not just with videos but even with individual drawings on the ask blog. sigh I'll just keep trying my best!
