The Decision Dilemma: Tools to Navigate Small Business Lending Program Participation

CDFI small business lenders are encountering a growing landscape of options to participate in programs that provide credit enhancement and increased liquidity. How do you navigate these opportunities and know when to participate in them? How do you ensure you’re selecting the right program for your organization?

This session, presented by Scale Link and the Aspen Institute, will share new analytical tools designed by the Scale Link team to help CDFIs make these decisions strategically. Presenters will discuss and demonstrate how these tools aid practitioners in systematically assessing and comparing the financial and mission implications of participating in various programs. Attendees will also hear from a CDFI leader on how they applied the tools in their decision-making process.
