Behringer Neutron & Korg SQ1 ~ Melodicing

Описание к видео Behringer Neutron & Korg SQ1 ~ Melodicing

The Melodicer from Vermona is a cool gadget that allows you to select a per note likeliness for that note to be part of a random sequence - somehow like that. I don't have the melodicer but tried to mimic the behaviour roughly with the SQ1. I grouped three to four steps together (that all play the same note) and have several groups of steps through a major scale over one octave. So I have a coarse selection of the likeliness for a note to be played, simply by selecting zero up to three or four steps of a group. To randomize the envelope trigger I combined the free running Neutron LFO with the SQ1 gate through the S&H. Only if LFO output is high and gate is high, the envelopes are triggered. Sounds more complex than it is, here are the full patch notes:
SQ1 CV A goes to Neutron OSC 1+2. SQ1 Sync out (works also with gate A/B) goes to S&H Clock and to Att1 CV. The Neutron LFO (square wave) goes to S&H in. S&H out goes to Att1 in, Att1 out goes to E.Gate1. The Neutron output goes through an external delay (in addition to the internal one, for maximum delay, like with public transport).
