Dit is het verhaal over de onvoorwaardelijke liefhebbers van het Bredase voetbal. De film duikt in het leven van fans die al tientallen jaren van de club houden en de mensen die de besmetting van de sfeer van hun historische club levend houden. Het doel van de film is om meer inzicht te krijgen in wat de liefde voor de supporters van NAC Breda zo aanstekelijk maakt en een ijkpunt voor andere clubs. De Europese reuzen Manchester City hebben een nauwe band met NAC Breda en de City Football Group heeft voorgesteld om de club uit de tweede divisie over te nemen. Deze film volgt ook deze strijd tussen hun traditionele "home-town voetbalclub" eigendomsstijl, die misschien wel de ruggengraat vormt van hun toegewijde fanbase, en een meer zakelijk en op geld belust management. Eén-op-één interviews met fans, personeel en bestuurders van de club over de geschiedenis en de huidige staat van de club en scènes op het terrein voor, tijdens en na wedstrijden schetsen het perfecte beeld voor voetballiefhebbers van wat deze club overeind houdt ondanks alle tegenslagen. Komt het erop neer dat de club wordt geleid door de fans en voor de supporters?

This is the story about the unconditional lovers of Breda football. The film dives into the lives of fans that have loved the club for decades and the people that keep the contagion of the atmosphere of their historic club alive. The purpose of the film is to get a clearer understanding of what exactly makes the love NAC Breda supporters so infectious and a benchmark for other clubs. European giants, Manchester City have enjoyed a close relationship with Dutch side NAC Breda and City Football Group proposed to take over the second-division team. This film also follows this fight between their traditional “hometown football club” ownership style that may be the backbone of their devoted fanbase to more corporate and money-seeking management. One-on-one interviews with the club’s fans, staff, and directors about the club’s history and current state and scenes from inside the grounds before, during, and after matches paint the perfect picture for football lovers of what keeps this club going through all their adversity. Does it boil down to the club being managed by the fans and for the fans?
