The artillery teams of the 49th Combined Arms Army from the "Dnepr" group continue to carry out fire missions against Ukrainian targets on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region.

Recently, a crew operating a 122-mm D-30 howitzer successfully struck a UAV control point and the temporary deployment area of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel. The targets were promptly detected by aerial reconnaissance assets of the group.

Upon receiving the command, the crew swiftly moved to a pre-prepared and camouflaged position, deployed the gun, and conducted accurate fire. A direct hit resulted in the destruction of the control point and up to ten Ukrainian soldiers, confirmed by objective control footage.

The gun commander, known by the call sign "Lis," described the crew's teamwork: "On average, we fire around 50 rounds a week. We work quickly: the first shot is for adjustment, after corrections the second, and the third is almost always on target. The whole process takes about a minute."

The artillerymen of "Dnepr" execute a broad range of fire tasks with precision, completing strikes within minutes of receiving targeting information. After the mission, the crew concealed the weapon and retreated to safety.
