Bad Road Condition from Mumbai & Pune to Ahmedabad | 520 kms 12 hours | TripStori

Done trip from Pune to Ahmedabad, while we stayed in Mumbai overnight. So this Mumbai to Ahmedabad road trip video is about current road condition in 2024. Going from Pune or Mumbai, you cannot avoid the concrete road work going on from Ghodbunder to Manor, to Talsar, Dahanu, until just before Vapi. Droneman has covered this issues very well about this NH48 highway.

We started for Pune to Ahmedabad Trip via Thane & Fountain Junction, but stayed in Mumbai to visit relatives in Thane and Andheri.

On the day of trip, we started from Andheri at 6:30 AM. We faced very frequent traffic congestion and bad roads until Gujarat RTO check post. After that, the congestions were very less with much better road.

We also recommend to use Mumbai Delhi Expressway from Bharuch onwards to connect to Vadodara Ahmedabad Expressway.

Shree Khodiyar Kathiyawadi, Bharuch

The whole road trip to Ahmedabad was done in 13 hours for 650 kms, with 3 quick stops for petrol / washroom breaks spending 1.30 hour.

We took 1 hour dinner break after Vapi, at Shree Khodiyar Kathiyawadi. We ordered Aloo Pyaaz subzi, Masala Khichdi, Barja and Makkai rotla, buttermilk, costed us around 700. They give variety of complementary salads and pickels. We loved the food and with other food items ordered.
