CMC Vellore - Guide and Travel vlog|

Christian Medical College, Vellore, widely known as CMC Vellore is a private, Christian community-run medical college and hospital in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. Founded in 1900 by an American missionary, Dr Ida S. Scudder.
There is also a new CMC Building at Ranipeth that is around 12 k.m. apart from the main CMC Campus.

There are lodges and hotels available near the main CMC Campus at a reasonable price, where you can cook your own food too. People from all over and out of the country are visiting CMC Vellore.
We found the system in the main CMC Building more organised as compared to the main CMC Campus. But most of the staff are cooperative and in case of doubts they can be approached for clarification. Free and continuous bus service is available between main and new CMC Buildings.
One must collect their registration card from the registration counter, as it is asked at many counters. At the main CMC Campus, registration card may be collected from ISSCC Building and at new building it may be collected from Block-A registration counter. Since the waiting time before meeting doctors, therapists or diagnostic centre is very high and one must keep sufficient time in hand before planning for return or for any other activities.
The hospital is closed on Sunday, so one may also visit Vellore Fort and Golden Temple of Vellore that are at nearby location.
