Clinton Anderson: Training a Rescue Horse, Part 5 - Downunder Horsemanship

Описание к видео Clinton Anderson: Training a Rescue Horse, Part 5 - Downunder Horsemanship

Horse trainer Clinton Anderson builds rescue horse Cider's confidence about wearing a saddle. Subscribe to our channel    / @duhorsemanship  . In the last training session, Clinton saddled the mare for the first time. In this session, he practices key exercises with her, such as Stirrup Driving to desensitize the mare to the saddle and to get her comfortable moving around with it.

Cider is a 6-year-old mare that has been rescued from starvation twice and has no training beyond basic haltering and handling. Clinton worked with Habitat for Horses to find Cider and share his belief that, if approached correctly, taking on a rescue horse can be a rewarding experience. Don't miss all of the instruction and inspiration this 13-part series has to offer.
