Sometimes being in the position that Muzan is in, you have to be willing to do anything to make sure the people you care about live somewhat peaceful lives.

It doesn’t bother him at first because he had to sometimes end innocent lives to protect his demons but as time went on he felt he was just killing for the sake of it.

Like if he’s gonna kill someone, at least let it be his desicion to do it, but it’s not, it’s his uncle’s.

So overtime, he just became numb to any horrible thing he had to do because it didn’t matter to him if they were guilty or innocent; as long as his demons aren’t involve with any of his uncle’s requests, he’ll do it.

And now in the present, he has a daughter that he loves very much so going after or betraying his uncle is out of the question.

So no matter how many times Tamayo comes up to him asking for help, his answer will always be no.
