Demis POV.
Im Demi, im 17. I live in California, and my parents are rich, but not billionares, like most of their friends.Me and my best friends Selena and Miley go to
a prep school called Trebeca Miles Prep. Mileys pretty famous because shes a superstar, but she comes to school everyday and does that stuff on the weekends. Selena films her show,Wizards of Waverly Place after school, and I play my music at clubs on the weekends. Out of the three, Im not as close to famous as they are. I play in small clubs, and am trying to get a record deal. Im the non-famous best friend of the Teen Queens. And its fun, but even though im not making money, my familys richer than theirs but I dont want my parents help.Everyones parents here are millionares,but Sel,Miles and i dont notice, because were so used to it.
Right now im sitting in my bed, listening to music. My parents are having some "Special Guests"over tonight and i have to be ready by 7:30.
Its already 5:00 so I put my playlist on play, and walk to my bathroom and take a shower. I search my closet and find a short pink dress with light pink details around
my waist. I did my hair straight and put my diamond earrings my dad bought me last month.I lightly put mascara,eyeliner and pink eye-shadow.
"Demitria! Our guest will be here any minute!"Mom said through the intercom."Kay mom!"I said, pressing the little red button.
I put on my light pink wedges, and walked downstairs.There was a woman in a silver dress, standing next to my mother and staring me down. Her husband,or
boyfriend I guess smiled at me, with his hand wrapped around the womans waist. Next to them was a younger man, but turned around. My father said"Hello
darling." The younger man turned around.He smiled, and his smile almost made me faint. He was soo hot, well and a totally cutie...I got to the end of the stairs, and he
approached me."Hi, Im Joesph, but you can call me Joe."He said, "Demitria, but you can call me Demi"I said, as he shook my hand. "Well shall we have dinner?!"
My mother called, smiling.We all sat at our giant table. My dad, and his dad, i later found out, sat at the head of the table. Each of our mothers sat on their sides, but together,
leaving me and Joe on the other side. Mom kept smiling at me,and i couldnt help but smile. She wanted to tell me something about this boy sooo bad. After dinner, we went
into our living room, Joe kept looking towards me wondering why our parents kept staring at us.I just shrugged. Something was definately up.
I couldnt wait for someone to tell me!Joes father and mine stood up. "Joesph and Demitria,"His dad said."We know that this may be a surprise, but when you were younger we decided to arrange a marriage between you."My father said.
"So.. you two will be getting married."His dad said."WHAT?!"I got up, gasping. "IM 17!" They didnt even show an expression. "Honey, we know your upset, but by the
time you both get married, you'll almost, or even may be 19. "I-I gott-"i ran up stairs without finishing the sentence.
