I finally did it. I cleared the ultimate challenge - Black-ALL Heaven No-Miss No-Bomb. The perfect run. (And no shield either or that matter).

As far as I am aware, this is the first time Heaven NMNB has ever been done, and it was one hell of a journey filled with joy, pain, excitement, demotivation, stress, and ultimately triumph. And for better or for worse, it doesn't stop here. Next I will be challenging Black IF-ALL NMNB on Normal first, and then Heaven. but I am going to perfect this game no matter how long it takes me. A "0.1% clear rate" never stopped me before!


As for the run itself, stage 1 is one of the more difficult stages, more than stage 2 and 3 imo. However because it's early on in the run, you can take a lot more unnecessary risk without losing too much progress. The downside is that stage 1 jail is VERY real.

Stage 2 is pretty straight forward: a lot of streaming in the stage section, and a pretty simple boss. The last 2 phases of the boss can get kinda scary if you're not careful.

Stage 3 is definitely the most consistent. It's all about route execution so as long as you don't deviate from your routes you should be fine. There aren't really any risky situations you can find yourself in in this stage.

Stage 4 is where the real game begins. Despite having consistent routes, they can be very risky to pull off. in particular, the circular box section after the opener as well as the caravan section are very dangerous. Also I messed up my route about halfway through the stage and killed an enemy I shouldn't have, but I was able to recover. The boss is also very dangerous in all situations, especially the final phase. If you make one mistake in the final it can be nearly impossible to recover so... don't do that I guess lol.

Stage 5 is by far the most terrifying stage in the game (as it should be). run killers are: Caravan section, the Heaven-exclusive midboss after caravan, getting a bomb carrier during the laser gauntlet like I did (which almost got me killed), The third boss attack (my specials route just feels kinda awkward), the boss attack that fills the screen with large green bullets, the spin at the end (under pressure or if you accidentally cancel), and finally, of course, the TLB. There are so many points of failure, and it becomes even worse on pace when the nerves set in. It's a stage that needs to be practiced a LOT.

TL;DR: Stage 1-3 ok, Stage 4 scary, Stage 5 downright run killing.
