🔺 Modified Recipe:
2 cups flour (the original recipe says you can use spelt flour, whole wheat or even GF flour!)
2/3 cup sugar (swap for coconut sugar or date sugar to make them a bit healthier!)
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree (one 15 oz. can)
1/3 cup applesauce (or neutral flavored oil)
2 tsp. vanilla
Optional: 1/2 cup walnuts (+ more for topping)
