Stubbornly not doing embroidery (and making my life harder than necessary)

The long rambly process of making the additions to this jacket! I've had a vision for this ever since I finished the original bleach painting and I'm so incredibly happy with how it came out. I know the final video product is a bit all over the place, but the jacket is very well put together!

I originally wanted to do traditional embroidery, but I settled on sewing on crochet motifs! Because well, I'm not good at embroidery, but I am good at crochet. So I wanted to play to my strengths, and I think the end product is even more unique and special because of that.
