PLEASE BEWARE Tactics Of Rogue Trader Locksmiths Scammers 2

Here's another documentary which was aired a few months ago now, on CBC News. Again it shows Rogue Trader Locksmiths operating in the Greater Toronto Area of Canada. They use the type of tactics to lure vulnerable customers. That is customers call for an emergency locksmith they initially quote a very cheap price to lure the customers. Upon arrival they would nearly always say the only way to get in is to break the lock without any attempt to open via non destructive methods. Then they would charge ridiculous amount of money for it. And more money for a replacement lock.
Even though this is in Canada it looks like the same method of deceiving vulnerable customers are the same.

Tips to avoid them:
- Check their reviews, especially their 1 star reviews.
- Always give a clear description of the situation i.e. lost key, key left inside etc
- Confirm the price is for opening without breaking the lock or if breaking the lock the cost of replacing the lock
