Story behind the Song:
No microphone. No tripod stand. No ring light. Totally unplanned.
This is how I recorded my latest original song, 'Creation'. Last December, my family & I visited Waynad for a couple of days & the place where we stayed had this jaw-dropping viewpoint at the rear end. The minute I saw this place, I wanted to record something so I tried to brainstorm for a song, but nothing came to my mind. The first day passed. The second day almost passed until in the evening, as we were heading back after visiting a couple of places, I was praying & talking with God, when I asked God if He could give me a song that I could record from that viewpoint. Initially, I wanted to do a cover coz I didn't think that I would be able to write a song that complemented the viewpoint, in such a short span of time. But to my surprise, God gave me an Original Song! New Lyrics. New Melody. New Topic. New Song Pattern. Everything was new! You won't believe this but God helped me write the lyrics & the melody in the car as we were heading back, in about 15-20 minutes. I'm not saying this to boast about my skills or anything like that. I just want to brag about how God worked in my life. Usually, I take months to finalize on a song & finally record it but 'Creation' was written, composed, finalized & even recorded within 12 hours! That's when I realized the true meaning of Luke 1:37. When the Bible says, "For nothing is impossible with God", it means Nothing is Impossible with Christ! When you're partnering with Jesus in doing something, you can be sure that His Favor will be over you! Honestly, even now, this song is a wonder. I can't believe how this song came to life so quickly & I hope it's a testimony for each one of you that our God doesn't need to follow the norms or the patterns of this world but out of nowhere, when you least expect it, He can do miracles. This song is a miracle. I hope it blesses you the way it blessed me.
