Makevention (August 24, 10am-4pm at the Monroe Convention Center) is an annual celebration of the DIY spirit, held in Bloomington, Indiana. Makers from Bloomington and the surrounding region will be there showing off their projects and engaging attendees in making activities. For those that want to experience even more hands-on learning, we are doubling our workshop track this year.

The event is family friendly and intended for all ages/skill levels. General admission and most activities are free. Some of the optional workshops may have registration costs.

Makevention is sponsored by Cook Medical, IU School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, IU Pervasive Technology Institute, Ivy Tech Community College, and the IU School of Education. We are able to put on an amazing event yearly due to the generosity of our sponsors and the awesomeness of our exhibitors. We do accept donations, and these go to making Makevention more and more awesome, but the event itself is free!
