British Army convoys of heavily protected trucks and howitzers 🪖 🇬🇧

Several British Army convoys of Mastiff protected patrol vehicles and two AS-90 howitzers loaded on Heavy Equipment Transporters travel through Hampshire, UK. A Land Rover and a few MAN Logistics Support vehicles were also travelling in support of these armoured vehicles.

The 6 wheeled drive Mastiff is heavily armoured and designed as a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle, with a large cage surrounding it to protect against mines and projectiles. It is used for patrols in conflicted areas to protect convoys and any other combat needs.
