One person was killed and the entire intersection of Biesterfield and Meacham roads in Elk Grove Village has been closed down until further notice after a crash late Tuesday night. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed Wednesday that the crash resulted in a fatality. The identity of that person has not yet been released.
