Sukka Mutton or Mutton Chukka is a mutton recipe where mutton is cooked in coconut based ma-sa. "Sukka Mutton” or Dry Mutton as it’s popularly known as is a spicy Maharashtrian dish. It’s easy to make and can be really tasty and delicious. This tasty and spicy recipe is quick and easy to make with minimum ingredients and quick procedure. Recipe:

Ingredients –
900 Grams Mutton
3 Chopped Onions
½ Cup Coconut
5-6 Green Chilies
4 Inch Ginger
20-22 Garlic Cloves
2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
Turmeric Powder
Red Chili Powder
Coriander-Cumin Seed Powder (Dhana Jeera)
Garam Masala
Salt
Oil

Method -
1. In a grinder add ginger, green chilies, garlic, cumin seeds and coconut and make a paste.
2. In a pressure cooker, heat some oil and add ½ Teaspoon turmeric paste. Mix well.
3. Add salt as per taste.
4. Add the mutton and cook for 2-3 whistles.
5. Now in a kadhai take some oil and add 3 chopped onions. Fry them till they are golden brown.
6. Add salt, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 4 teaspoon dhana jeera, 3 teaspoon red chili powder and 3 teaspoon garam masala. Mix well.
7. Add the cooked mutton to the masala and mix the mutton with the masala.
8. Cook for 8-10 minutes with closed lid.
9. Add around ½ cup of coriander and sukka mutton is ready.
