Another example in the scriptures of Christ calling someone foolish is in Matthew 7:26. “And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man”. They aren’t foolish because they won't hear, they are foolish because they won't do. So the five wise virgins must have done things throughout their lives that the foolish virgins did not. They all heard the same message, and all believed, but only five were truly converted.
