Valorant is a free-to-play, first-person shooter game where two teams of five compete in a tactical battle. Here are some things to know about Valorant:

Gameplay
Players choose from a set of characters, called "agents", each with different abilities. The game is set in the near future and the agents are inspired by real-world cultures and countries.

Objective
In the main game mode, one team attacks and the other defends. The attacking team tries to plant a spike, while the defending team tries to defuse it. The attacking team wins the round if they defeat all the enemies, but the defending team can still lose if they don't defuse the spike in time.

Weapons
Players can carry one sidearm and one primary weapon. Sidearms include pistols, while primary weapons include SMGs, shotguns, rifles, sniper rifles, and machine guns.

Ultimate abilities
Players can charge up their ultimate abilities by winning rounds, getting kills, planting or defusing the spike, or picking up orbs.
