This color film shows the three young daughters of J. Irwin and Xenia Miller - Margaret, Betsey, baby Kitty - at the gardens at the Irwin House in Columbus, Indiana. The Irwin house was completed in 1864 for Joseph Irwin, a Columbus Indiana businessman, and his family. The home was enlarged in 1890, to reflect Irwin's growing family as well as growing wealth after founding the Irwin Union Bank and Trust in 1870. The house was remodeled yet again in 1910 by architect Henry A. Philips.
